What is the difference between Refer
and Alliance Network?
Prior
to 2004 the Refer and Alliance
Network systems were two separate
software packages, each with their

2001/2002 using newer technology.

system, the two systems were merged
in order to create the new version 7
Refer and Alliance systems.
Since
2005, Refer7 and Alliance Network
are identical software systems
(except for the names) and are still the software of
choice for professional
I&R organizations. The two names
remain in order to make a
distinction between the two user
groups.
Both
systems are developed using Microsoft
Visual Studio and Visual Studio.NET use either
Microsoft SQL Server or Access2000/2003
databases.
